Day 0 - All Day: Tieria [Gundam 00]
Thurs - 10am-12pm: Tieria [Gundam 00] :: Kouga panel

Sooo, I posted this on LJ forever ago, and completely forgot to post it on deviantART. Leave it to me! Hur hur.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing everyone who is going to AX this year! <3

Day 0

So, everything that could've possibly went wrong this day WENT. FUCKING. WRONG. There was so much frustration, anger, and tears, I couldn't even begin to tell you about it.

Buuuut then we got to the hotel room and things instantly got better~. Cindy and I met up with ~KazeNeko-chan, ~PhantomShadow, :devtwistedzexion: and her friend Hani while we were checking in. ~bittingdemon showed up soon after. All the lovely people we are staying with~.

Not much happened - just set up, got dressed in our G00 cosplays, and went down to get our tickets. I have to say, I am DAMN impressed with AX's new system, as we zipped through a gigantic line in probably less than an hour.

We then got pictures taken by conpix.net - and met up with :devFatedGamble: and hung, which was absolutely lovely~. Hadn't seen her in forever. We then parted ways back at the hotel so that we could get the remaining of our costumes finished.

Yep, not very eventful!

Day 1

OH MY GOD, best con day EVER.

~ChibiK, ~KazeNeko-chan, ~bittingdemon and I went to Kouga Yun's panel. I have to say, she is very pretty and she has an adorable personality - I now adore her along with her work.

But anyway! Questioning opened up directly after opening, in which you would walk up to a mic in the center of the room and ask her. This was too good of an opportunity to pass up, so we went for it! We learned a lot of interesting little facts about her stories while waiting. ~KazeNeko-chan and I went up together, to ask the very last question of the panel - and Kouga Yun made it a point to compliment our costumes! (Kaze as Regene, myself as Tieria, and Cindy as Lockon.) We're still fangirling!

We then went on to her autograph session, got things signed, and got to wait until the end so that ~ChibiK, ~KazeNeko-chan and I could get a picture with her!

We then browsed through the dealer's hall, where we saw Kiyoko (sorry, can't remember your SN), and Seras from the SoCal Spring Gathering '09 (sorry, can't remember your name!). We went through a few aisles, I bought two G00 artbooks, and we ventured off to eat. We then spotted ~Seraphim-Sephiroth and ~ZexionConvertedSaix, then ~Lkon2 moments later with their amazing G00 group. We took some pictures with them by EBK which was fun, and then parted ways to FINALLY get food. ~HeathelFuss found her way to us and we ate some intensely greasy chinese food.

After aaaall that, it was time to get into Absolute Obedience so that we (~KazeNeko-chan, ~PhantomShadow, :devtwistedzexion:, ~bittingdemon, ~HeathelFuss, *blueheart29, ~ChibiK and I) could go to get pictures by *blueheart29's friend. (She also brought me some bithday presents, which was amazingly nice omg <3.) It was fun, even though I FORGOT I HAD MY GLASSES ON for some of the images. Ffff.

We required more food, so we stopped by the Holiday Inn's restaurant, created somewhat of a ruckus, and then parted ways with *blueheart29 so she could head off to bed. We headed over to the JastUSA panel.

We got to the panel about 15 minutes early - but it turned out that the panel was apparently already so full that there was no standing room, and we were not allowed in! Even though we were cosplaying as shit from one of their games!

But THEN *cheddot got us in! She's fuckin' amazing.

And THEN one of the staff members asked us if we would go down to the front to show off our costumes! While they handed out prizes and such, we were sitting at the front table with the industry guests - and after the panel was done, they took pictures of us and with us!

Aaaaand THEEEEN I asked if they had any available job openings - so they suggested that we work at their booth, wearing our costumes, and pulling people in. FOR MONEY.

Getting pictures taken at the JastUSA booth, possibly getting free shit, and getting PAID for it? YESPLZ.

Day 2

We missed the panel that morning, which I was pretty disappointed about - but, hey, what can you do?

We met up with other Gundam00 cosplayers, though, and got in a few pitures. Saw ~Lkon2 as Johann and her friends dressed as Nena and Michael, to which I prompty fangirled over. Everyone made their way over to the Gundam gathering to where we had fun nerding it up. We also saw ~Glorious-S, which was nice since we hadn't really spoken since the SoCal Spring Gathering.

After that, we headed back to the room to change into Kuroshitsuji. I spent a good amount of time fussing over my makeup since the glue stick method of covering my eyebrows was failing me - so I did things my own way and made it work. (Success!) Layers of eyemakeup and false eyelashes later (and one intermission to jizz over ~ChibiK as Sebastian), I was finally done and ready to hit the scene as Grell with ~ChibiK as Sebastian, ~KazeNeko-chan as pageboy Ciel, and ~bittingdemon as William (Willywillywilly!).

I don't think I've ever made a bigger spectacle of myself, but it was fun. 8D Saw some friends, notably ~adamantius and ~liacoraginger whom we hung out with most of the time. They were a joy to be around~.

I can't really remember what happened after that. xD I think we went back to the hotel room and knocked out after said many hours of goofing off.

Day 3

We got up late again and missed a good 2/3rds of the Kuroshitsuji gathering. xD; But it's all good, as we got to dance around with ~HeathelFuss, ~Iyonte, ~SuzumiyaRevy, and Britt. We then parted ways to see the Exhibitor's Hall. Due to everyone's feet hurting like hell, it took a good hour to maneuver around in there and even get a couple of aisles, so I ended up parting ways with my Ciel and Sebastian to zoom through the remainder of the hall to see the rest of the booths and find myself the Kuroshitsuji manga artbook~.

I left there and sat down with a nice group of strangers (of which ~SensoOokami was a part of) to put my heels back on - and when I was asked for my picture by the lovely ~SensoOokami, by pocket watch chain caught on the chair and broke! But she was nice enough to wait on me, fix my chain, and then take my picture. What a sweetheart. ;3;

I then ventured off to grab a soda, sat down under the nice air conditioning in the hall, and promptly spilt my pepsi on the floor when someone asked for a picture. At least my fail was in character, as they noted. lolol.

Not too long after, ~HeathelFuss as Grell and ~bittingdemon as Snake found me. <3 We chilled for a bit, met an amazing Doll cosplayer, and then moved on to the food court. Found Big Wes on my way out to make a phone call, whom le me rip off his facial hair and chest hair pieces. lolol. We rejoined Nadia and Natalie, and then Nadia and I decided to stalk down a Sebastian from across the hall, which somehow then turned into some odd rape pose involving a Sebastian sammich. Probably best not to ask.

We rejoined Wes to say goodbye, and then headed back over to a reforming Kuroshitsuji group - and then met up with ~ChibiK and ~KazeNeko-chan again. (I was missing them somethin' fierce at that point~.) After that point, it seemed that most of the Kuroshitsuji cosplayers had found one another at that spot and so we had another small gathering of sorts~. I think everyone disbanded then, ~ChibiK had retrieved her lost AX badge, and we met cake!Sebastian, her Ciel, and their Watari friend. We had fun spending some time with them instead of going to the Masquerade.

I forget where this fit in, but it is also worth mentioning that I got molested by Ribbons and Regene during this time, and it was quite the mindfuck. I was Grell, not Tieria NOOOO.

We then met up with yet another fun Kuro group - a Ciel and a Lizzy - whom were sitting outside of the masquerade because they found it to be miserably boring. ~ChibiK and I decided it would probably be in our best interest to skip out on it then and instead spend our time with them. <3 We then met their Sebastian which we recognized from a karaoke video on YouTube, to which I was greatly amused.

I also took a picture with a famous Japanese Cloud cosplayer during this time, and he touched my butt for the duration of the picture being taken. It was probably on accident, but I'm still lol'ing over it. 8D

This group and our own somehow managed to meet up with more Kuroshituji cosplayers for more pictures! A somewhat large Kuroshituji gathering was formed, and everyone got a flood of pictures from people who had confused us for the Masquerade finalists. I was quite amused~.

Had fun with the friends we made there, cuddled with ~ChibiK to rest a bit, and overall had a blast~. That was until the LACC staff cam up and scream in our half-asleep faces to GTFO. Sewriously, why kick us out onto the streets so shortly after the Maquerade, and why be to RUDE about it? Ffff.

Headed back to the room not too long after that. Took a nice shower to remove all that makeup, and goofed off in the room with our roommates until we got noise complaints. Hahah, oops.

Day 4

JastUSA day! We arrived at the panel with our AO group at around 1pm and worked until the hall closed. We got mixed responses, but I overall think we did a good job! Especially ~Twisted-Zexion whom seems to be a natural salesperson. Unfortunately, though, *blueheart29 and ~HeathelFuss couldn't spend the entire time with us. </3

After that was said and done, we wandered out to get some food. We laughed at one another in our costumes and generally had a good time nerding it up. Took some pictures with EBK, and headed over to say goodbye to *blueheart29 and :devfatedgamble:, but couldn't get ahold of either one. :'<

We found ~adamantius again and were part of the group that stayed to get kicked out of the convention center yet again. Headed out to the front with the small amount of people that insisted on loitering around for a while longer. Fended off some asshole who demanded for me to give him my whip, got some ice cream, and finally headed back to our room once it was too cold for us to function.

We all relaxed and enjoyed the rest of the night, got some good food, and passed out in the wee hours of the morning.

Overall, this was a damn good AX - probably the best I've had in years! Thank you so much to the friends - old and new - who spent time with me and contributed to making this convention go so smoothly.

To Cindy, Kaze, Natalie, April, and Danielle: I absolutely loved rooming together! I hope we can do this regularly, as I couldn't have picked a better group to spend time with. <3 We just need to better develop our organizing/tidiness skillz! xD

Natalie: You're such a generous person! D: Thank you so much for pitching in for the Saint Seiya figurines with Taylor, and for getting everyone little gifts. That was incredibly sweet~. You can expect a gift next convention, when I have time to maneuver around the dealers to find you something!

To Taylor: Thank you for finishing Ferdinand on time for us, organizing that photoshoot, and for giving me those lovely birthday gifts! ;3; You're so sweet~. I'm sorry we showed up late that Thursday - but you were a good sport about it, which we should all thank you for once again. You looked fantastic as Fer<3. Also, I've been using that bag regularly since you gave it to me - I adore it!

Melanie: Thank you again for the birthday gift! I'm sorry I didn't get yours to you - I will give it to you next convention I see you at! D:

Diana: It was onderful to see you again. I'm so sad we didn't get to see each other more than once! D:

Cindy: I'm glad you were able to make it to this convention with me, as it woudn't have been the same without you. Love you lots.
