I will begin by saying that PMX was a wonderful con for socializing! I met so many old friends, talked to new and wonderful people, and saw tons of amazing cosplayers! OH MAN. It was a overall good experience, I have to say.

Buuuut, it did have its drawbacks. Nothing that affected me directly thus far, but is concerning nonetheless.

It seems that rumors have been circulating around the cosplay community concerning my 'group', and those who associate with us. We've been called stuck-up, accused of alienating others, stealing away members of other groups, etc. I'm not certain how this image of us came to be - but srsly, really?

Rather than rely on the words of others, why don't you attempt to speak to us yourselves? We all may be loud and rambunctious, but we're friendly and love meeting new people. We never turn down meeting awesome new friends, and will gladly welcome those who open up to us to hang out. We talk no more crap than the rest of you, and the only people we've avoided were ones that caused us unrelenting drama and couldn't bother to reach a happy medium that would allow us to still socialize and avoid confrontation. And, yes, if you're a bitch to one of us, we will gladly dish it back.

As far as stealing people away... How is that even possible? Isn't that a rather juvenile way of thinking? Every human being is capable of making their own decisions and decide who they spend their time with. Furthermore, to condemn them for doing so by saying they're only in it to gain popularity (Uh, wat. Since when are we POPULAR. lolol.), and physically threaten them for hanging out with us doesn't make US look like the savages. Think about it.

Really, if you have a problem with us - or think you do - come to the group rather that allow these rumors to fester and become uglier. I'd rather clear it up than see any more of these hateful dA journals posted. Internet drama doesn't affect us rather than cause mild annoyance, but I'd rather not find out that my own name and those of my group are involuntarily pulled into some drama that we are not even aware of until we happen to stumble across these entries from people that we barely even know.
